Week 8 of Sessions

Week 8 was another special week, including two non-regular language sessions as well as a Careers Talk which saw a total of 84 students attend via Zoom! A special thanks this week goes to speakers Alexia Betancourt, Alex Boorman and James McGuirk for taking time out of their busy schedules to talk to students about their experiences beyond graduation.

• Discussion 8: Let's Talk About Food (Kumi Casey, University of Newcastle)

• Careers Talk: JET, Work in Japan & Beyond: a chance to hear from - and ask questions of - three speakers introducing their experiences of working in Japan, including on the JET Programme in ALT and CIR positions
