Week 6 of Sessions

With a plethora of conversation and discussion sessions on offer, we hope that the last week provided an excellent opportunity for students looking to build more Japanese speaking practice into their schedules.

Sessions on offer included:

• Upper Intermediate Japanese Conversation: Children and Education (Kazumi Tanaka, SOAS)

• Pre-Intermediate Japanese Conversation: Visiting a Friend's House (Yumiko Schumacher)

• Riko-chan House: a further opportunity for intermediate/upper intermediate learners to develop their Japanese speaking skills (Riko Sherratt)

• Intermediate-Upper Intermediate Discussion: Digital Technology and its Uses (Kumi Casey)

• Basic Introduction to Japanese Linguistics (Part 3): an introduction to fundamental features of Japanese linguistics (Dr Michael Tsang, University of Newcastle)
