Week 5 is Here!

In Week 5 of the J-YAP IUSP Autumn Semester, let's take a closer look at what's on.

Tuesday 5th

This week, Yukie Yagioka explores the topic of anime and manga in her popular Yagioka Seminar class. Students who enjoy this session may want to participate later in the day in Yumiko Schumacher's equally popular Let's Speak Japanese!

Wednesday 6th

This Wednesday sees a special event taking place, with Tomoko Fujita's Language Exchange continuing from its stint during the August Summer School. This week's theme is birthdays.

Thursday 7th

Continuing on a similar thread, Mihoko Noguchi's Chat Club, which like the Language Exchange also welcomes students from Japanese universities and provides a space for conversation practice, with students this week answering questions such as "If you had a free day in Tokyo, what would you like to do?"

Friday 8th

Last but not least, we finish the week with Keiko Kelly's innovative Virtual Study Abroad course, which gives students the chance to experience elements of the Japanese study abroad experience from afar.
