Week 10: Farewell 2020

Updated: Jan 19, 2021

As we say goodbye to 2020, it is hard to overlook the huge amount of hard work put in by all of the teachers over the last 10 weeks of sessions. Furthermore, it is with a great deal of respect that we think of the students who have continued to take part in sessions despite such a difficult backdrop to their studies and the world at large. To all who have made these last few months possible, thank you and congratulations on all of your efforts and perseverance.

As we gain momentum into 2021, we are able to announce a number of brand new sessions starting from January, with the following coming up in the first 2 weeks alone:

  • J-YAP IUSP 新年会 (Shinnenkai - New Year Party)

  • Matcha & Sadou/Chadou: an introduction to Japanese culture through the world tea and the tea ceremony (Dr Natsuko Shibata Perera)

  • Pre-Intermediate Japanese Conversation: Yagioka Seminar (Yukie Yagioka | This Week's Theme: Temples / Shrines)

  • Upper Intermediate Japanese Conversation: Practical Japanese(Hiroe Okamoto | This Week's Theme: Exchanging Business Cards)

  • Pre-Intermediate Japanese Conversation: Let's Speak Japanese (Yumiko Schumacher | This Week's Theme: Japanese New Year)
