We're Back!

Greetings from your favourite J-YAP IUSP project members!

We are delighted to announce that following a break of a few months, we are back and in full swing organising a whole new swathe of sessions kicking off from August. This is thanks to renewed funding via the Embassy of Japan in the UK, for which we would like to express our deep gratitude for allowing this project to continue.

Although we were technically away for the past few months, it would be amiss to ignore the fact that there have been a couple of sessions continuing throughout this time. In particular, Riko Sherratt has very kindly volunteered her time each and every week to continue "Riko-chan House", aimed at upper intermediate level, recently also adding a pre-intermediate conversation class on Monday afternoons.

Furthermore, our very own Fumiko Narumi-Munro has recently been holding a Language Exchange on Thursdays, to which we have been thrilled to see a healthy turnout of students from both UK and Japanese universities discussing all sorts of topics, from favourite summer foods to the Tokyo Olympics.

There will be plenty more to announce in the coming weeks, so check back soon to find out more of what will be on offer.

For queries about J-YAP IUSP and any of our sessions, please get in touch with the relevant project member or via email at jyap.iusp@gmail.com
